The Secretary of the Army of the United States of America takes pleasure in presenting the Army Commendation Medal to Second Lieutenant Keith Patrick Steinhurst, United States Army, for outstanding performance of duty from 24 September 1993 to 30 June 1994, while assigned as Chemical Defense Officer of the 4th Battalion, 133d Field Artillery. Second Lieutenant Steinhurst consistently demonstrated superior knowledge and invested his personal time to ensure that the Battalion NBC operations and equipment were ready for mobilization.
