Getty (ASN: RA-6549653), United States Army, for extraordinary achievement while participating in aerial flights against the enemy in Korea as a member of Battery C, 11th Field Artillery Battalion, 24th Infantry Division from 1 to 28 August 1950. His outstanding courage and dedication to duty were in keeping with the highest traditions of the military service and reflect great credit upon himself, his unit, and the United States Army.
