The President of the United States of America, authorized by Executive Order 11046, 24 August 1962, takes pleasure in presenting the Bronze Star Medal to Lieutenant Colonel Elliott Ian Levenson, United States Army, for exceptional and meritorious service while assigned as the Air Ground Integration Expert during Operation IRAQI FREEDOM. Lieutenant Colonel Levenson’s superb leadership, technical and tactical expertise, and commitment to excellence during combat operations contributed to the overwhelming success of the command’s mission. His selfless service and dedication to duty are in keeping with the highest traditions of military service and reflects distinct credit upon himself, the Multi-National, Division-Center, and the United States Army.
