Private First Class Marvin Earle Robinson (MCSN: 298880), United States Marine Corps, was captured by the Japanese after the sinking of his ship, the U.S.S. HOUSTON (CA-30), on 27 February 1942, and was held as a Prisoner of War until returned to U.S. Military control at the end of the war.
