Doyle, United States Marine Corps, was awarded the Legion of Merit with Combat “V” for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services to the Government of the United States as Assistant Chief of Staff, G-3 and as Chief of Staff, FIRST Marine Aircraft Wing in the Republic of Vietnam.
