(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: The President of the United States of America, authorized by Act of Congress, July 2, 1926, takes pleasure in presenting the Distinguished Flying Cross to Senior Airman Kimbrly Heiser, United States Air Force, for extraordinary achievement while participating in aerial flight while serving with the 60th Air Mobility Wing during the evacuation of American and civilian personnel from Afghanistan on 22 August 2012. Her professional competence, aerial skill, and devotion to duty under all conditions serve as an inspiration to her fellow flyers. Senior Airman Heiser’s actions reflect the highest credit upon herself and the United States Air Force.
