Inbound from Pease Air Force Base, a B-47 bomber suffered uneven throttle advance on an attempted go around, and the port engines failed to respond, and the bomber veered off a runway, hit a building, and burned. Disregarding his own safety, Staff Sergeant Molock rescued three members of the crew. The exemplary courage and heroism displayed by Staff Sergeant Molock reflect great credit upon himself and the United States Army.
