Fuhrmann (ASN: 37349656), United States Army, for heroism not involving actual conflict with an enemy of the United States while serving with Company A, 1st Battalion, 7th Infantry Regiment, 3d Infantry Division, in action at the Volturno River, Italy, on 27 December 1943.
