Murr, United States Army, for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services to the Government of the United States as a member of the 703d Ordnance Battalion, 3d Infantry Division, during the period culminating on 10 March 1944. The singularly distinctive accomplishments of Technical Sergeant Murr and his dedicated contributions in the service of his country reflect the highest credit upon himself and the United States Army.
