Frabott, United States Army, for conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity in action against the enemy while serving with the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne), in action on 2 May 2011 in support of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM in Afghanistan. Chief Warrant Officer Five Frabott was the flight leader for a Joint Task Force. He successfully penetrated a fully integrated and highly sophisticated air defense network. He delivered a ground force to the target and flawlessly reacted to multiple contingencies to include the loss of an aircraft and allowed the ground force to complete its extremely high-risk mission. His gallant actions and dedicated devotion to duty, without regard for his own life, were in keeping with the highest traditions of military service and reflect great credit upon himself, his unit, and the United States Army.
