(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: The President of the United States of America, authorized by Act of Congress, July 2, 1926, takes pleasure in presenting the Distinguished Flying Cross to Technical Sergeant Arthur W. Riley, United States Army Air Forces, for extraordinary achievement while participating in aerial flight while serving with the 305th bombardment Group, EIGHTH Air Force, in action in the European Theater of Operations during World War II. His outstanding courage and dedication to duty were in keeping with the highest traditions of the military service and reflect great credit upon himself, his unit and the United States Army Air Forces.
