(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: Airman David Livingston, United States Air Force, was awarded the Airman’s Medal (Posthumously) for heroism involving voluntary risk of life near Damascus, Arkansas, on 19 September 1980, following an accident at a Titan II strategic missile complex at Damascus, Arkansas, which caused a highly volatile and toxic fuel leak in the missile’s stage I fuel tank. His exemplary courage and heroism reflect great credit upon himself and the United States Air Force.
