Staff Sergeant Carpenter went above and beyond the call of duty genuinely demonstrating what selfless service really stands for. Staff Sergeant Carpenter’s actions bring great credit upon himself, the 95th Civil Affairs Brigade (Airborne), United States Army Special Operations Command, and the United States Army.
