    The President of the United States of America, authorized by Act of Congress, 20 July 1942, takes pleasure in presenting the Legion of Merit to Lieutenant Colonel John Joseph Magrosky, Jr., United States Army, for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services to the Government of the United States as Commander, Charles Melvin Price Support Center, from 16 June 1988 to 14 July 1989. He accomplished several monumental feats during his tenure to include the rededication of the installation and the ground breaking for 100 sets of family housing quarters. His leadership, professionalism and initiative, significantly contributed to the effectiveness of the Center, and successful mission accomplishment. Colonel Magrosky’s devotion, technical competence and exemplary performance of duty are in keeping with the highest tradition of the military service and reflect great credit upon himself, the U.S. Army Materiel Command and the U.S. Army.
