(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: Brigadier General Benjamin Hardin King (ASN: 0-666955), United States Air Force, was awarded the Air Force Distinguished Service Medal for exceptionally meritorious and distinguished service in a position of great responsibility to the Government of the United States, culminating as Director of Aerospace Safety in the Office of the Deputy Inspector General for Inspection and Safety at Norton AFB from 13 January 1969 to 31 January 1971.
