(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: The President of the United States of America, authorized by Act of Congress, July 2, 1926, takes pleasure in presenting a Second Bronze Oak Leaf Cluster in lieu of a Third Award of the Distinguished Flying Cross with Combat “V” to First Lieutenant Edward Lee Hubbard (AFSN: FV-3122827/17442092), United States Air Force, for heroism and extraordinary achievement while participating in aerial flight as an EB-66C Navigator with the 41st Tactical Reconnaissance Squadron, Takhli Royal Thai Air Force Base, Thailand, in action over Southeast Asia in 1966. The outstanding heroism and selfless devotion to duty displayed by Lieutenant Hubbard reflect great credit upon himself and the United States Air Force.
