The President of the United States of America, authorized by Act of Congress, 20 July 1942, takes pleasure in presenting a Third Bronze Oak Leaf Cluster in lieu of a Fourth Award of the Legion of Merit to Brigadier General Ralph Taylor Holland, United States Air Force, for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services to the Government of the United States as Vice Commander of the Warner Robins Air Material Area at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, during the period from 10 August 1969 through 1 November 1971. The singularly distinctive accomplishments of General Holland and his dedicated contributions in the service of his country reflect the highest credit upon himself and the United States Air Force.
