(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: Captain (Air Corps) Richard Bodycombe, United States Army Air Forces, was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for extraordinary achievement while participating in aerial flight while serving as a B-24 Pilot of the 782d Bombardment Squadron, 465th Bombardment Group, FIFTEENTH Air Force, in action in the Mediterranean Theater of Action during World War II.
