    (Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: The President of the United States of America, authorized by Act of Congress July 9, 1918, takes pride in presenting the Silver Star (Posthumously) to Captain Chauncey Aubrey Bennett, Jr. (AFSN: AO-2066962), United States Air Force, for conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity in action while serving as Pilot of an F-51 Mustang Night Fighter Airplane with the 12th Fighter-Bomber Squadron, 18th Fighter-Bomber Group, FIFTH Air Force, in Korea, on or about 30 April 1951. The gallant actions and dedicated devotion to duty demonstrated by Captain Bennett, without regard for his own life, were in keeping with the highest traditions of military service and reflect great credit upon himself and the United States Air Force.
