(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: First Lieutenant Patrick K. Gamble, United States Air Force, was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for extraordinary achievement while participating in aerial flight as a Forward Air Controller in an O-1 Bird Dog, in the Republic of Vietnam, from 1969 to 1970.
