(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: First Lieutenant Carl E. Franklin, United States Air Force, was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for extraordinary achievement while participating in aerial flight while serving with the 56th Special Operations Wing, Udorn Royal Thai Air Force Base, Thailand, in action over Southeast Asia from 1970 to 1972.
