(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: Lieutenant Colonel Richard G. Davis (AFSN: 0-2218454), United States Air Force, was awarded a Bronze Oak Leaf Cluster in lieu of a Second Award of the Silver Star for gallantry in action as a member of the 7th Air Force, while serving with friendly forces engaged in an armed conflict against an opposing armed force in Southeast Asia on 18 May 1968. By his gallantry and devotion to duty, Lieutenant Colonel Davis has reflected great credit upon himself and the United States Air Force.
