Padalino, Sr., United States Marine Corps, was awarded the Legion of Merit with Combat “V” for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services to the Government of the United States as Commanding Officer, Force Logistic Support Group-Alpha and Third Service Battalion, Force Logistic Command in the Republic of Vietnam from May 1965 to 1966.
