Kilgore, United States Army, for heroic achievement during aerial flight as an attack helicopter pilot in command during direct combat operations in support of Mind-B and Operation IRAQI FREEDOM 06-08. Chief Warrant Officer Four Kilgore distinguished himself by locating and destroying an enemy anti-aircraft ambush. His actions directly contributed to the safe guarding of coalition aircraft and the disruption, determent, and destruction of anti-Iraqi forces.
