(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: Captain John Alexander House, II (MCSN: 0-86844), United States Marine Corps, was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross (Posthumously) for extraordinary achievement while participating in aerial flight while serving with Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron TWO HUNDRED SIXTY-FIVE (HMM-265), FIRST Marine Aircraft Wing, in Southeast Asia on 30 June 1967. His devotion to duty and courage under all conditions serve as an inspiration to his fellow flyers. His actions reflect the highest credit upon himself and the Armed Forces of the United States.
