The President of the United States of America, authorized by Executive Order 11046, 24 August 1962, takes pleasure in presenting the Bronze Star Medal (Army Award) to Captain Chad French, United States Marine Corps, for exceptional and meritorious service while assigned as the Executive and Logistics Officer, Border Transition Team 4323, during the period from 1 March 2007 to 28 September 2007 in support of Operation IRAQI FREEDOM in Iraq. Captain French’s superb leadership, technical and tactical expertise, and commitment to excellence during combat operations contributed to the overwhelming success of the Command’s mission. His selfless service and dedication to duty are in keeping with the highest traditions of military service and reflect distinct credit upon himself, the Multinational Division-Center, and the United States Army.
