The President of the United States of America takes pleasure in presenting the Legion of Merit, in the Degree of Officer (Navy Award) to Captain Immanuel Holger, Chilean Naval AttachŽ to Washington, D. C., for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services to the Government of the United States during World War II. Captain Holger, by his wholehearted cooperation and untiring efforts, vitally strengthened the understanding and friendship between his country and the United States during a period of great activity.
