Harry Wyatt was commissioned in 1971 after graduating from Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas. From 2009 to 2012 he served as Director, Air National Guard, the Pentagon, Washington, D.C., and retired in 2012 as a U.S. Air Force Lieutenant General.
