(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: First Lieutenant Walter T. Worthington, United States Air Force, was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for extraordinary achievement while participating in aerial flight while serving as an F-4C Pilot with the 68th Tactical Fighter Squadron, Korat Royal Thai Air Force Base, Thailand, from 1965 to 1966, and with the 497th Tactical Fighter Squadron, Ubon Royal Thai Air Force Base, Thailand, from June to October 1966, in action against the enemy during 100 combat missions over Southeast Asia. His devotion to duty and courage under all conditions serve as an inspiration to his fellow flyers. His actions reflect the highest credit upon himself and the Armed Forces of the United States.
