(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: Lieutenant Colonel Donald Arthur Vogt, United States Air Force, was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for extraordinary achievement while participating in aerial flight while serving as Pilot of a C-47 Reconnaissance Aircraft of the 360th 362d Tactical Reconnaissance Squadron, Tan Son Nhut Air Base, South Vietnam; and subsequently in the 362d Tactical Reconnaissance Squadron, Pleiku Air Base, South Vietnam, in action against the enemy over Southeast Asia from 1966 to 1967. His devotion to duty and courage under all conditions serve as an inspiration to his fellow flyers. His actions reflect the highest credit upon himself and the Armed Forces of the United States.
