(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: Colonel (Finance Corps) Moody Rudolph Tidwell, Jr., United States Army, was awarded the Legion of Merit for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services to the Government of the United States as Chief of the Claims Division, Office of the Chief of Finance from 1940 to 1943; and then as a member of the Board of Contract Appeals, Office of the Undersecretary of War from 1943 to 1946. The singularly distinctive accomplishments of Colonel Tidwell and his dedicated contributions in the service of his country reflect the highest credit upon himself and the United States Army.
