Howard Edwards graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy at Colorado Springs, Colorado, Class of 1973. in 1980 he joined the Colorado Air National Guard and in 2007 as a Major General, was appointed The Adjutant General of Colorado, and retired in 2017.
