Navy Federal Credit Union

Herbert Swindell entered the University of Maryland and earned a bachelor of science degree in 1944. As a member of the Navy V-12 program he received his medical degree from the University of Maryland in 1946. He entered service in the Air Force as a Captain in 1951, and retired in 1980 as a U.S. Air Force Brigadier General.
