Lee Rodgers graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy at Colorado Springs, Colorado, Class of 1972. After graduation he studied at the Tulane University School of Medicine and earned his medical degree in 1976. He retired in 2003 as a U.S. Air Force Major General.
