Anthony Rock was commissioned through the Reserve Officer Training Corps program in 1982 upon graduation from the University of Texas – San Antonio. In 2008 he was appointed a U.S. Air Force Brigadier General. In 2011 he received his 2d Star, and in 2014 he received his 3d star as a Lieutenant General.
