(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: Major Richard M. Pascoe, United States Air Force, was awarded a Bronze Oak Leaf Cluster in lieu of a Second Award of the Distinguished Flying Cross for extraordinary achievement while participating in aerial flight while serving as an F-4 Fighter Pilot of the 555th Tactical Fighter Squadron, Ubon Royal Thai Air Force Base, Thailand, in action against the enemy during 125 combat missions over Southeast Asia and the destruction of two enemy aircraft in aerial combat, from 1966 to 1967. His gallant actions and dedicated devotion to duty, without regard for his own life, were in keeping with the highest traditions of military service and reflect great credit upon himself, his unit, and the United States Air Force.
