(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: Lieutenant Colonel John Francis O’Donnell, United States Air Force, was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for extraordinary achievement while participating in aerial flight while serving as an F-105 Pilot from 1968 to 1969, and as an F-4E pilot in the 432d Tactical Reconnaissance Wing in 1973, in action against the enemy over Southeast Asia. His devotion to duty and courage under all conditions serve as an inspiration to his fellow flyers. His actions reflect the highest credit upon himself and the Armed Forces of the United States.
