Stanton Musser was commissioned through the Reserve Officer Training Corps program in 1958 upon graduation from Gettysburg College. After serving in Vietnam in 1965, he flew with the Air Force THUNDERBIRDS. He retired in 1989 as a U.S. Air Force Major General.
