Maryanne Miller was commissioned through the Reserve Officer Training Corps program in 1981 upon graduation from Ohio State University. In 2009 she was appointed a U.S. Air Force Brigadier General. In 2013 she received her second star, and in 2016 she received her third star as a Lieutenant General.
