Navy Federal Credit Union

After receiving a battlefield commission in the Army Engineers in World War II, William Meredith was discharged after the war. He returned to active duty in the Army Corps of Engineers in 1948, but transferred to the Air Force in 1949. He retired in 1973 as a U.S. Air Force Brigadier General.
