(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: Captain Thomas J. Lennon, United States Air Force, was awarded a Second Bronze Oak Leaf Cluster in lieu of a Third Award of the Distinguished Flying Cross for extraordinary achievement while participating in aerial flight while serving as an F-4 Pilot with the 435th Tactical Fighter Squadron, Ubon Royal Thai Air Force Base, Thailand, from 1968 to 1969; and as an F-4 Aircraft Commander and Instructor Pilot with the 469th Tactical Fighter Squadron, Korat Royal Thai Air Force Base, Thailand from 1970 to 1971, in action against the enemy over Southeast Asia. His devotion to duty and courage under all conditions serve as an inspiration to his fellow flyers. His actions reflect the highest credit upon himself and the Armed Forces of the United States.
