(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: Brigadier General Theodore Gourdin Kershaw, United States Air Force, was awarded a Bronze Oak Leaf Cluster in lieu of a Second Award of the Legion of Merit for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services to the Government of the United States during Operation DOGSLED in Thule, Greenland, air-dropping tractors, pre-fabricated buildings and other vital equipment for weather and radar stations on the ice cap., as well as airlift and airdrop operations at Frobisher Bay, Faffinland, for Operation DREW LINE. The singularly distinctive accomplishments of General Kershaw and his dedicated contributions in the service of his country reflect the highest credit upon himself and the United States Air Force.
