Gina Grosso was commissioned through the Reserve Officer Training Corps program in 1986 upon graduation from Carnegie-Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In 2011 she was appointed a U.S. Air Force Brigadier General. She received her second star in 2014, and in 2015 received her third star as a U.S. Air Force Lieutenant General.
