Michael Dubie was commissioned through the Reserve Officer Training Corps program in 1979 upon graduation from the University of Vermont. In 2004 he was appointed an Air Force Brigadier General, received his second star in 2007, and in 2012 received his third star as an Air Force Lieutenant General.
