(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: Major General Winfred N. Carroll, United States Air Force, was awarded the Legion of Merit for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services to the Government of the United States, culminating as Mobilization Assistant to the Director of Logistics, Air Combat Command, Langley Air Force Base, Virginia; and subsequently as Mobilization Assistant to the Deputy Chief of Staff for Installations and Logistics, Headquarters, U.S. Air Force, Washington, D.C., from 1994 to 2000. The singularly distinctive accomplishments of General Carroll culminate a long and distinguished career in the service of his country and his dedicated contributions reflect the highest credit upon himself and the United States Air Force.
