(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: Brigadier General Alan Clifford Edmunds, United States Air Force, was awarded a Bronze Oak Leaf Cluster in lieu of a Second Award of the Legion of Merit for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services to the Government of the United States, culminating as Commander, 47th Air Division, Strategic Air Command, Fairchild Air Force Base, Washington, in 1972.
