The President of the United States of America, authorized by Act of Congress, 20 July 1942, takes pride in presenting the Legion of Merit (Posthumously) to Colonel Albert C. Prendergast (AFSN: AO-424133), United States Air Force, for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services to the Government of the United States with the 136th Fighter-Bomber Wing, Far East Air Forces in Korea, from 26 October 1950 to 5 November 1951. The singularly distinctive accomplishments of Colonel Prendergast reflect the highest credit upon himself and the United States Air Force.
