Despite severe and accurate antiaircraft artillery fire, poor weather, and the disorientation of his wingman, Colonel Cabas continued the mission and obtained complete photo coverage of the assigned targets. He then led his wingman to a safe recovery despite total communication failure between the two aircraft.
