Staff Sergeant Donald R. Watts (ASN: 15081482), United States Army Air Forces, was captured by Japanese forces after his aircraft was shot down on or about July 26, 1944 and was held as a Prisoner of War until his release from captivity after the end of hostilities in September 1945.
