Fienup (ASN: 0-729837), United States Army Air Forces, for extraordinary achievement while participating in aerial flight while serving with the EIGHTH Air Force in the European Theater of Operations. His outstanding courage and dedication to duty were in keeping with the highest traditions of the military service and reflect great credit upon himself and the United States Army Air Forces.
